There are many ways that you can help PRIDE get rid of litter in Central Kentucky. Below are some easy tips.

Individuals:

1. Make sure your trash is secured in the correct receptacle. This means placing cigarette butts in ash trays and ensuring that your garbage and recycling containers are properly sealed.
2. When you see litter, set a good example by picking it up and disposing of it.
3. Carry a litter bag in your vehicle or on your bicycle.
4. Volunteer for neighborhood and community cleanups.
5. Report a litter bug.

Businesses:

1. Adopt an area around your business to monitor and keep tidy.
2. Educate your employees on the importance of taking pride in their workplace by maintaining a litter-free environment.
3. Ensure that your dumpsters remain closed.
4. Provide trash and cigarette receptacles at the entrance to your business.

Groups:

1. Organize your own neighborhood or community cleanup. PRIDE will help by donating bags and gloves!
2. Set up a litter patrol to monitor the problem in your area.
