Stoney Falls Apartments has completed many environmental initiatives over the past couple years ranging from recycling to energy conservation. As a WasteBuster Apartment, Stoney Falls encourages all of their residents to recycle. They have 13 recycling “rosies” for their residents to recycle paper, cardboard, plastic, and aluminum and have residents that value the amenity recycling provides them.
Stoney Falls has also completed a major energy conservation initiative at their complex by replacing heat pumps in the apartments, improving insulation in the floors of all their units, and installing programmable thermostats.
Water improvement has also been something Stoney Falls has tackled by installing low-flow fixtures in their apartments cutting their resident’s monthly water usage. Stoney Falls just signed up as a Live Green Lexington Water partner also committing to maintain their pet waste signage and baggy dispensers on the property and keeping it free of litter and landscaping debris.
