The Live Green Lexington Partner program is a joint program between LFUCG and Bluegrass PRIDE and is an opportunity for businesses and apartment complexes in Lexington to make a difference in their local environment. There are three facets to the program – the WasteBuster partner, the Water partner, and the Energy partner. Businesses and apartment complexes can participate in one, two, or all three of the programs. WasteBuster partners focus on beginning or expanding recycling programs, Water partners focus on ways to improve water quality and Energy partners focus on ways to become more energy efficient. There is no cost for participation and the groups that participate are recognized throughout the community as Green partners. Bluegrass PRIDE program managers are available to help businesses and apartment complexes implement each individual program.
