The Simple Comfort Energy Partner Program can help you identify areas for improvement and provide guidelines to help you improve your home’s efficiency. Once your residence has met the minimum standards listed below, it will be eligible for Simple Comfort certification by Bluegrass PRIDE.
We encourage you to focus on achieving the minimum program standards before working on the preferred criteria. This whole-house approach will provide greater efficiency throughout your residence and result in faster payback on your investments.
While the program has been designed for homeowners who want to take on projects themselves, please note that air infiltration and duct leakage must be tested by a BPI-certifi ed energy auditor. The results of all tests listed below must be verifi ed by a BPI auditor to be considered for Simple Comfort certification.
